What Is Included in a Dental Exam?
Regular exams help diagnose problems before they threaten your health and can save you money by addressing issues while they’re small. An initial exam includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. We take digital X-rays of the front and back teeth, plus bitewing X-rays to detect decay between the back teeth. Your exam generally includes:
